Martin OM45 Custom de Luxe
Martin OM-45 Super Deluxe made at the Martin Factory custom shop in 1997, a unique guitar alright, and a free interpretation of the OM-45 deluxe. It is an amazing guitar, in looks, detailing and craftsmanship, but also in tone. Features include Indian rosewood back and sides and German spruce top. This guitar sounds like a million bucks guitar and certainly shows of as one, only one of its sort in existence, one of the most luxurious and I prefer to consider this guitar among the cream of the Crop, exceeding any model in existence. This instrument confirms the technical skills as well as the artistic level of the custom shop. The detailing is impressive, and the styling is truly delicate and on a very high level. The most stylish i've seen so far, with the beautiful torch inlaid slotted head, the beautiful inlays on the gloss polished bridge, the style 45 inlays all around, but not only that, there is more to it, the sides of the fingerboard and headstock are inlaid as well, also the heel is double inlaid and the side of the heelcap is inlaid, as well as the back centre seem. Also the compostion of white pearl and Abalone is amazing, check the details in the picures. It is a careful composition of details, and if you would order a guitar like this new these days, you can start counting from €25.000 onwards. Taking the 632mm or 24.9" scale in acount as well, this is actually a 000-45 Deluxe, measurement at the nut is 43mm or 1 11/16", with 56mm or 2 3/16" stringspacing at the saddle. The condition is simply near mint, and stems from a collector. I'm sure you would not be able to find a second one like this if you searched a lifetime. The Guitar comes in the orignal case.
