Fender Stratocaster '56 relic masterbuilt by John English
Fender Stratocaster relic '56 masterbuilt by the late John English, considered one of the grand-masters of the Custom shop. Senior Master Builder John English, who unfortunately passed away in 2007 is considered one of the most intriguing Master-builders of the custom shop. This guitar is made in Relic style, which means it is intended to look like its played for a long time, with gorgeous birds-eye maple neck of the best quality i ever seen. Has the John English's signature and Custom Shop logo on the back of the peghead. Finished in Fiesta Red, and one of the earliest masterbuilt guitars with serial number #R10612, features include Alder body. This 12 year old relic strat is simply an amazing guitar, with Rosewood slab fingerboard, quarter sawn maple Soft V neck, custom shop pickups, weighing in at around 3.3kg, 9.5" radius, 42.2mm neck width, 650mm scale length. The frets are worn only superficial. Comes with Original certificate signed by John English. Gold hardware, and Originally equipped with Anodized gold Pickguard, and backplate, that are still with the guitar, tremolo is there, event the gold ashtray is there, original pickups measure 6.0, 6.0 and 6.2Kohm. This guitar is amazing and of very high collectible value, i haven't been able to find an earlier masterbuilt Relic, let alone made by John English. Original case included, as is the COA.
